Prizes and Opportunities
  • 1st prize winner will receive £1000 (British pounds) and an opportunity to perform as an invited soloist with the London City Philharmonic in their 2025/2026 season.
  • The 1st prize winner will perform on 8 March 2025 with the London City Philharmonic at the Holy Trinity Sloane Square in Central London, which has excellent acoustics.  Winners will have the opportunity to choose which concert/piece they want to perform in London from the repertoire list below.
  • If the 1st prize winner will not be available to perform at the 8 March 2025 concert, then the opportunity to perform  it will  be given to the 2nd prize winner and the 1st prize winner will be given another chance to perform with the orchestra later during the 2025/2026 or 2026/2027 season of the London City Philharmonic. If you would like to perform a different concerto/piece which is not in the list below please send a request for approval at info@joachimcompetition.com
  • Music agents will be invited to the concert, this could be a great opportunity for soloists to be noticed and maybe get signed by an agent.
  • 2nd prize is £500 (British pounds) plus an official diploma.
  • 3rd prize is £400 (British pounds) plus an official diploma.
  • Semi-finalists will receive an official diploma.
  • 2nd, and 3rd prize winners and semi-finalists might have an opportunity to be invited as soloists to perform with the London City Philharmonic during the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 seasons.
